Sebastian Alejandro Ujueta Rocha

Product Designer & AI Product Builder

Bogotá Berlin Sandusky

Professional profile

I design and build complete digital products with AI: websites, e-commerce and custom software. I know what AI builds well, where it gets things wrong, and how to turn it into something a business can rely on.

Engineering and my master’s studies in Berlin taught me to research before I build and to decide with data. Four seasons leading service teams of up to 80 people in the United States taught me how customers think when they buy, so I design with conversion psychology and friendly UX/UI. I work in English, Spanish and German.

Desktop software with cloud sync · BogotáView project →

  • Led the migration of the 22,483 records in a swimming school’s 1996 DOS program with () that analyzed and organized all the information, and in about six weeks replaced it with a custom system that keeps the keyboard shortcuts the staff already knew.
  • Built a complete, historical record for each student, almost a résumé (details, course, schedule, attendance, payments, balance and history), and automated the daily work: one-click attendance and payments, a calendar that skips holidays on its own and the calculation of what is owed to each teacher and each transport company.
  • Designed an architecture that syncs several computers in real time and . It , like a phone app, with no need to visit the school where it is installed. It keeps a (one copy outside the office) and a trail of every change: who made it and when.
  • Delivered the system up and running: the school now uses it every day on two or more computers, with its data in its own cloud account, and the old program is fully retired.
