WHAT WE BUILD · CUSTOM SOFTWARE
Software built around how your business works
Two kinds of project live on this page. One is the business running on a program from another decade, on spreadsheets only one person fully understands, or on a paper notebook: at a swim school in Bogotá we replaced a 1996 DOS program and kept the keyboard shortcuts the staff knew by heart. The other is the founder with a product idea who needs a first version real enough to charge for.
For established businesses whose daily work no longer fits the program they bought years ago, and for founders building a product of their own.
What you get
We start from what exists
Before writing code we go through the current program screen by screen, and through its data files. At Atlantic that is where the preschools that sometimes share a class, and the instructors paid per session, came from.
Your team keeps its speed
We keep the shortcuts, the key legend at the bottom of the screen and the words your staff already uses, like balances, route or voucher. A program slower than the old one is a step backward, whatever it looks like.
Several computers, one truth
Everyone sees the same information at the same time. If the internet drops, the program keeps working, queues the changes and uploads them once the connection returns.
It updates itself
Improvements download on their own and install the next time the program opens, on every computer in the office. Nobody downloads an installer or reinstalls anything.
Backups in layers
Cloud database, weekly copies on each computer and a daily off site copy, out of reach of a virus on the machines. That third layer came out of a conversation about what a local copy cannot survive.
Numbers that match everywhere
Every figure is calculated with the same formula on every screen, which is what stops two reports from disagreeing. Each action is logged with who did it, and permanent deletion needs a key the owner keeps.
Reports for your accountant
Pick the dates and download the period as a PDF to read or a CSV to send on, with money in by method, receivables and what is owed to each person.
Your product, first version
For a product of your own: user accounts, subscription payments, an admin dashboard and a version real enough to put in front of people who pay for it.
How it looks when it is done
A product you charge a subscription for is assembled from pieces we already have built and running: user accounts with permissions, private dashboards, syncing between computers, payments confirmed on the server, and automatic backups. With those in hand, the road runs from the idea to the first version you can charge for, and from there it grows on what your first users tell you.
What we used here, and you can ask for
Each of these is a service on its own. Open the one you need for your business and see how it works.

What it costs and how it starts
Custom software starts in Diamond, from $8.000.000 COP$5,000 USD€5,000 EUR, and the final figure depends on how many of your processes it has to cover. A single tool for one computer, the kind that replaces one stubborn spreadsheet, fits in Silver from $1.000.000 COP$500 USD€500 EUR. If your company would rather keep a team on hand for a stretch, the Corporate option starts at $800.000 COP$200 USD€200 EUR a day, billed only for days worked, with no long term contract.
- A free mockup before you pay
- Scope and price in writing before we start
- Two-year warranty on what we build
- First year of hosting and domain included, annual renewal after that

What counts as custom software?
A program built around how your business actually works, instead of your team adapting to whatever an off the shelf program already knows how to do. Atlantic Center's system handles preschools that sometimes share a class and sometimes do not, instructors paid per session and transport routes by institution. No catalog product had those rules.
Can I replace an old program without losing data or slowing the team down?
Yes, and it is the project we get asked for most. We read the old system's data files and carry the history across, and we keep the way the team already works, down to the keyboard shortcuts. At Atlantic the 1996 program is fully retired and the office staff never had to give up the keyboard.
We run on spreadsheets. Is that bad enough to replace?
It is worth replacing when nobody can tell which copy is the current one, when two people cannot work at the same time, or when a formula quietly changes what you charge. Moving off a spreadsheet starts by importing its columns into a real database, so the history you already have comes with you.
Does it keep working without internet?
If it is built for that, yes. Atlantic's system works on the computer first and uses the cloud to sync and to back up. When the connection drops it queues the changes and uploads them once the internet returns, without discarding anything typed while it was offline.
Can you build the first version of my SaaS?
That is what the offer covers, from the idea to a version you can put in front of paying users, with accounts, subscription payments and an admin dashboard. The parts it is made of are ones we have already built and have running today for URG and Atlantic.
How long does it take, and what happens after delivery?
Atlantic went from version 1.0 to 1.9.0 with each fix reaching the client within days of being reported, and that pace is normal for a system of that size. After delivery there is a two year warranty on anything that does not work as agreed, with new features quoted as enhancements. If you can dream it, we can build it: the proof is a swim school that stopped depending on one machine and the person sitting in front of it.
