Tailwind CSS
A tool for giving a page its colors, sizes, and style using small ready-made pieces of code.
What is Tailwind CSS, and what does it offer for website design?
Tailwind CSS is an open-source styling framework that works with utility classes: instead of writing long stylesheets, each element carries short classes that specify things like its color or its spacing.
Colors and fonts get defined once in the project's configuration, and when it builds, the final file only keeps the styles that are actually used.
Why it matters to your business
A design system defined in one single place makes the whole site look like one family and means a brand change doesn't require going through every page one by one. The stylesheet also stays small, which helps the page load fast on a phone.
How we use this at Damorus
This site uses Tailwind CSS 3.4, with its colors, fonts, square buttons, and arcade-HUD-style details all defined as a system of their own, so every new page feels consistent with the rest. URG Technology uses Tailwind CSS v4, and the earlier Damorus portfolio was also built with Tailwind.
