Damorus Projects

Damorus Projects is the studio's own website and system, with nearly 300 pages in two languages. It presents real projects with prices in plain view, offers a free mockup and a smart form that turns visitors into clients, and tracks everything with its own analytics. Its dictionary and blog attract searches from Google and from AI.

01
The shift

From DamorusWeb to Damorus Projects.

With public per-page pricing, we were competing with Wix and templates in a race to the bottom, since a page can always be found cheaper somewhere else. Building the URG Technology store taught us that what a business actually needs is the complete project: the digital piece and everything around it required to sell, like photography, marketing, and advertising.

That is why we changed the name and the way we sell. The goal we set for this site is concrete: at least one person who arrives without knowing us buys a project through it.

From visit to client, with every step in between.
02
Conversion

The order of the sections is deliberate.

The site applies to make moving forward cost the visitor little: the square buttons, the purple, the sentence that sums up what we do, and the order of the sections take someone from "what is this" to "I want to talk to them." Every path ends in a for starting a project.

The "I want this plan" button, for example, does not ask for a card: it leads to a short form, and the conversation continues over WhatsApp or email.

Connected nodes: every decision on the site depends on the others.

03
The brand

Dark backgrounds, purple neon, and square buttons.

The aesthetic comes from video games, since the founder has played them since he was a kid: dark backgrounds, purple neon, monospaced type on labels, square buttons, and marked corners like a game screen. When you change pages, a purple line sweeps across the screen, like leveling up.

Everything was designed , since that is where we expect most visits to come from. There, navigation is a floating pill that shrinks on scroll down and grows back with any upward swipe.

The brand's purple glow, pulsing.
04
Still growing

A site that keeps changing.

This site is never finished. Every time we close a project, we add its case study, and we ask every change the same question: does this help someone decide?

We are not under any illusions about timelines either. A site that attracts clients through Google (with ) and through AI assistants takes months to mature, and with La Roca we learned that a website alone still needs marketing. This site is the foundation, and on top of it go the content, the social media, and the direct conversations.

Rising bars: the site adds projects and lessons over time.
05
The method

Built with the same method we sell.

This site was built by , that is, by directing artificial intelligence the way you would direct a team: with a master document, precise instructions, and a review of every deliverable before signing off on it. It is the same method we use on client projects.

Some rules came out of mistakes. One day three identical smiles showed up where three different images should have been, and ever since we check every file's digital fingerprint so no image ever repeats. The story of how this site was built is further down this same page.

How it is built

with React, Tailwind CSS, and framer-motion, in JavaScript. It is a with its own components, and the text for projects and services lives in data files separate from the design, so adding a case study never requires touching the pages.

A custom design system

Colors, typography, buttons, HUD-style corners, and animations all come from a single system, so new pages look like family without redesigning anything.

Built for Google and AI

Semantic structure, metadata, and structured data () for every project, including FAQs. There is also an file summarizing the site for AI assistants.

Motion

Scroll animations, a loading screen that opens like a blind on the first visit, and a scan-line transition between pages. Everything respects the device's reduced-motion preference.

Ready to measure

The site is ready to connect . Right now, what gets logged is every request that comes through the form, so none of them get lost.

01OriginThe brand pivot

Before it was Damorus Projects, this site was called DamorusWeb, and it sold web pages with public pricing. A page is a commodity, and a commodity can always be found cheaper somewhere else, so we were competing with Wix, GoDaddy, and any cheap template out there, in a race that only the lowest bidder wins. We went through several versions of our plans, each one trying to explain what we offered a little better. None of them fixed it, because the problem was in what we were selling.

The pivot came while building URG Technology, a tech store with payments and its own command center. That project taught the founder two things. First, that well-directed artificial intelligence could build almost anything. Second, that a website alone does not sell: URG ended up nearly finished and on hold, because there was no budget left for product photography, marketing, ads, and social media. That is where the idea behind the studio's name came from: direct a professional team with the same rigor he directs AI, and sell the complete project, with everything the digital piece needs around it.

That is how Damorus Projects was born, an engineering, science, and AI studio with one foot in Bogotá and the other in Berlin. The name change also changed the conversation, which now starts with what a business needs to achieve and what has to be built for that, whether it is a catalog, , or a store. The team says this site is the high point of everything before it, because it brings back something technology tends to hide: human-to-human contact. There is a real person behind every button who answers.

02The ideaSelling a project

It is easier to understand with two other cases from this site. What La Roca needed was for people in its region to find its stone, calculate how much material they needed, and message on WhatsApp. Atlantic Center had to leave a 1996 system behind without its team losing any speed. In both cases the digital piece was the means, and the outcome each business was after decided what got built and what did not.

That is why our plans are ordered by ambition. Silver is for launching and validating, Gold is for consolidating and scaling, and Diamond is for building with no ceiling, and a website or custom software can fit into any of the three. Our services catalog also starts from a question: what has to happen for this to pay for itself? That is why it puts things side by side that a page-building agency never would: desktop software, payments, in-house analytics, SEO and GEO, branding, security, applied research, and environmental studies, which come from the founder's training as an environmental engineer.

What we tell people changed too. Every case on this site explains what problem existed, what got decided, and what was left unfinished, our own mistakes included, instead of listing "five-section" packages or feature lists. It takes more work to write it that way, but it lets a business owner picture their own project. We are a studio, and every job starts by asking about the outcome before talking about technology.

A website or custom software can fit into any plan. What changes from one to the next is how much the business wants to grow.

03ReferenceRuckus Marketing

Of the more than one hundred companies that received Damorus's old portfolio, the only positive reply came from Ruckus Marketing, a New York agency. No deal ever closed, but we came away with a reference for how an agency he admires presents its work. We studied their site closely. It uses little text and large type, puts visible proof in a strip near the top, has a numbered grid of services on the homepage plus a services index, and gives each service its own page that reads almost like a slide deck, with a cover, a way of working, and examples.

From the start we agreed on a rule: we could borrow Ruckus's structure, but never their sentences. Nobody owns a grid layout, or the idea of giving each service its own page. An agency's signature lines, on the other hand, are its identity, and copying them would be plagiarism, and it would show. The rule was tested early on: one line on this site was too close to one of theirs once translated into Spanish, so we dropped it and wrote our own, which grew more distinctly ours over time.

Today that line reads: "We are not experts in one thing. We are obsessive about everything we touch." We treat the rest of the site the same way. From the sites we admire we borrow what solves a usability problem, and the copy carries our own voice, direct and never inflated. We hold client work to the same standard: on The Medspa by Rayray, the sector's reference site contributed the logic behind where the buttons sat, while the colors, photos, and copy stayed the business's own.

Nobody owns a grid layout. An agency's signature lines, on the other hand, are its identity.

04PricingPricing

Prices on this site are public, something a lot of agencies avoid because it forces a commitment. We did it on purpose, so anyone who visits knows what it costs to get started before writing to anyone. There are three one-time-payment plans and one for companies.

Silver starts at $1.000.000 COP$500 USD€500 EUR. Gold, the plan we recommend most, starts at $4.000.000 COP$1,500 USD€1,500 EUR. Diamond has no ceiling, with its price scoped to the project, starting at $8.000.000 COP$5,000 USD€5,000 EUR. Corporate is billed only for the days worked, starting at $800.000 COP$200 USD€200 EUR a day. The site shows one currency at a time, based on your country, and you can switch between pesos, dollars and euros.

The hardest call was what happens after delivery. We went back and forth between charging a monthly fee worth 5% of the project, or including the warranty and billing updates separately. The second option won, for reasons of customer psychology: a mandatory monthly fee feels like rent and stalls the decision, while a few months of included updates feel like a gift. Every plan includes the first year of , the domain, a security certificate, backups, and a 2-year warranty; from the second year on, there is an annual renewal. If something we deliver does not work the way we agreed, we fix it at no cost.

Updates, meaning new content, features, or sections, depend on the plan. On Silver they are quoted by small block, starting at USD 40. Gold includes three months of updates, with up to three hours a month. Diamond includes six months, with up to six hours a month and priority response. Hours do not roll over, and anything beyond them gets quoted separately. Full details are on the pricing page.

The "I want this plan" button does not open a cart or ask for a card. It leads to a short form where you tell us your idea. The conversation then continues over WhatsApp or email. We suspected an extra window explaining the process would do more harm than good, so the journey is explained on the pricing page instead, and the form only asks for what is essential. After that comes a free mockup, the final price in writing, and payment, which can be split 30% to start and 70% on delivery, or into installments.

If something we deliver does not work the way we agreed, we fix it at no cost for 2 years.

05Two layersTwo layers

Every project on this site has two layers, and you are reading the second one. The first is each case's main page, built for a quick decision: a cover, a few sections that sell, a gallery, FAQs, and a closing . It tells roughly a quarter of what actually happened, and for most people that is enough to know whether we are what they are looking for. For anyone who wants to understand how each decision got made, what went wrong, and what was left unfinished, there is the full case study.

This second layer is written like a documentary chronicle, in a format inspired by encyclopedias. It has a side index, chapters with their own shareable link, notes that say which document each fact comes from, a fact box with the hard data, a "See also" section, and links between projects, set apart visually from the glossary's popovers. It tells what did not fit in the first layer, without repeating its text, and closes with a summary for AI assistants, written as third-person statements of fact with no sales language.

That way nobody wastes time. Whoever wants to decide can do it in the first layer, whoever wants to go deeper has somewhere to do it, and the main page never turns into a wall of text. The second layer is also valuable to Google and AI assistants, because it is long, well-organized text with sources and verifiable facts, which is what they need to understand a studio and recommend it (we call that generative engine optimization, or ). These chronicles also feed the blog and link projects to each other, like URG Technology to Atlantic Center.

Each case's main page tells roughly a quarter of what happened. The rest is here.

06ImagesNever repeat an image

While reviewing a case page, we spotted three identical smiles where three different images should have been. A screenshot conversion had failed, and four files with different names turned out to be, underneath, the same image. Whoever visits that page does not care why it happened; what they see is carelessness, and for a studio that claims to sweat every detail, that matters. The no-repeats rule already existed, but from that point on it allows no exceptions: no image or animation repeats, not within a page, not across pages, and not across projects.

Checking file names is not enough, because two different names can hide the same photo. What we check instead is each file's digital fingerprint, a code that changes if even a single pixel changes, which catches duplicates even when they are disguised. Every block of text carries one visual piece of its own, either a distinct photo or an animation built for that specific spot. If two projects need a similar idea, we design a different metaphor with different motion; recoloring a copy does not count. When an image does not exist and cannot be found under a free license, we build an animation instead, or leave a marked placeholder with the exact description of what is missing.

The rule also covers the quality of what does get shown. A long screenshot of a page never gets forced whole into a landscape frame, which is how you end up with stretched images and black bars; instead it gets cropped into screen-sized views, and each crop only gets used once. Galleries keep fixed proportions with no empty bars, and outside photos only go in under a free license, credited whenever the license requires it. We apply the same standard on client projects, like Küsten Elite.

Four files with different names turned out to be the same image. Ever since, we check every file's digital fingerprint.

Every visual piece gets its own unique fingerprint, and any duplicate gets flagged before it ever reaches the site.
07Living siteVideo game inspiration

The founder has been a gamer since he was a kid, and that is where a good part of his instinct for user experience comes from: years of watching a good game guide and surprise the person playing it without ever needing a manual. He wanted this site to feel alive, like a video game. You can see it in the look, with a dark background, purple neon, monospaced labels, square buttons, and marked corners like a game screen. But you notice it even more in the motion, and in a few secrets for anyone who explores.

The first time someone opens the site in a new session, a loading screen shows the full logo and then opens from the center outward, like a blind, once the page is ready. It never lasts more than 1.8 seconds and does not show up again as you keep browsing. When you switch pages, the content shifts up slightly while a purple scan line sweeps across the screen, like leveling up. On mobile, where we expect 80 to 90% of visits, navigation is a floating pill that shrinks as you scroll down, grows back with any upward swipe, and hides when the keyboard opens.

The secrets are subtle and never break anything. Typing a classic video game code on a computer keyboard switches the screen into arcade mode for ten seconds, with scan lines and a score counter. On mobile that mode is hidden at the bottom of the page, for anyone who taps seven times in a row. Press and hold the logo, and a line appears that sums up everything for us: "There is no such thing as an impossible challenge anymore." All the motion respects the device's reduced-motion preference, so nobody gets dizzy.

08SuccessMeasuring success

For Damorus Projects, success for Damorus Projects is measured by something simple and difficult at the same time: at least one person buying a project through the site. Someone who arrived without knowing us, read, trusted us, and decided. Visits, reading time, and Google rankings matter too, and we will track them, but what we actually want to prove is whether a stranger can move from curiosity to trust, which is exactly what we offer our own clients.

Every page, case study, and pricing tier leads to the same , where a project starts, and every request gets logged so none of them get lost. We are not under any illusions about timelines either. A website that attracts clients through Google and AI assistants takes months to mature, and with La Roca we learned firsthand that a website alone needs marketing. So this site is the foundation, and on top of it we build the content, the social media, and the direct conversations.

When that sale happens through the site, we will tell the story here, dated, and with the permission of whoever makes it possible. In the meantime we keep adding projects, full case studies, and lessons learned, and we ask every change the same question: does this help someone decide? If you made it this far, you already know how we work, mistakes included. Whenever you are ready, you can start a project by telling us your idea.

The goal is for at least one person to buy a project after finding us on this site.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask us.

What does Damorus Projects do?+

We build digital projects for businesses: websites, online stores, custom software, branding, content for Google and AI assistants, and applied research too. Every project starts from the outcome the business needs, and what to build gets decided from there.

Why is your own website a case study?+

Because it is the one project anyone can inspect from the inside. The prices, the house rules, and the story of how it was built, mistakes included, are all right here, and it shows the same decisions we make for a client.

What is conversion psychology and why does it matter?+

It means designing a website around how a person actually decides: what they look at first, what holds them back, what builds trust, and what gets them to reach out. In practice, it turns into concrete decisions, like one main call to action per screen or a form that asks only for what is essential.

Do you work with large companies or only small ones?+

Both. We have worked with small businesses, like a swim school or a natural stone business, and we have a Corporate plan billed by workday for companies. The process is the same either way.

Can I get a website with this quality for my business?+

Yes. It starts with a short form; after that, we show you a free mockup and agree in writing on scope and price before you pay anything.
