Online store (e-commerce)

A site where customers pick products and pay online, while the seller manages orders and inventory.

How much does an online store cost, and what does it need?

An online store, or e-commerce site, brings together a catalog, cart, checkout, and payments in one place, with a dashboard behind it to manage products, orders, inventory, shipping, and customers. It can be built on a ready-made platform or custom-built for the business.

The storefront is what people see, but most of the work happens behind it: confirming payments securely, never selling the same thing twice, calculating taxes, and keeping the customer informed at every step.

Why it matters to your business

A well-built store sells at any hour, to any city, but it doesn't launch itself. Beyond the system itself, it needs product photos and someone pushing it on social media and ads, so it's worth budgeting for both parts from the start.

How we use this at Damorus

URG Technology is a complete computer store: a catalog with a search tool that forgives typos, product pages in three formats, checkout with VAT broken out, payment through Mercado Pago and Bre-B, atomic reservations, and a dashboard with 31 metrics. It took about four months and is 95% built, waiting to launch for lack of budget for photography, marketing, and ads. In our plans, e-commerce with a payment gateway is included starting on Gold, which is what we recommend for stores.
