Web security
Measures that protect a site and its data from attacks, stolen information, and unauthorized access.
Will my site actually be protected?
A site's security gets built in layers, because no single measure is ever enough on its own, and every one of our projects ships with a baseline layer: Cloudflare as a shield between your site and the world, password protection, defense against flood attacks (DDoS), and against attempts to sneak in through forms (SQL injection).
For projects handling sensitive data, the Diamond plan adds specialized data protection, scoped to what that project stores and who uses it.
Why it matters to your business
A successful attack can take the site down in the middle of a sale or expose customer data, with real consequences under data protection law. Security is also something people notice: a dashboard with protected access and a site with a padlock tell a customer their information is being looked after.
How we use this at Damorus
At URG Technology, security is built in many layers: anti-bot verification at the dashboard login, a growing delay after each failed password, two-factor authentication, decoy routes, a Black Box that logs every access attempt, and a switch that shuts down the public store during an attack. There was also a mistake that taught us something: a function meant to sanitize input and block attacks ended up corrupting legitimate photos, and we fixed it with an explicit allowlist instead. At La Roca, a dashboard that once accepted any password at all left us with a rule: not seeing an error doesn't prove something worked.
