Prompt

The instruction given to an AI. The clearer the request and the context, the better the result.

What is a prompt, and how do I ask an AI for things the right way?

A prompt is the text you use to ask an AI model for something. It can be a one-line question or a document many pages long, packed with context, rules, examples, and the format you expect the answer in.

A good prompt looks a lot like a good work order to a person: it says what you want, why, within what limits, and how the result will be checked.

Why it matters to your business

A lot of mediocre AI output comes from vague requests. Learning to write clear instructions saves your team hours of corrections and turns AI into something useful for real work, not just generic text.

How we use this at Damorus

Before writing a single line of URG Technology, we wrote a document of about 195 pages meant as a complete set of instructions, so an AI or a team could build the store without guessing, with twenty-five error-prevention rules at the end. This site is built the same way, with a master document for each session and tightly scoped instructions for each agent, including written rules on voice and privacy.
