Google Business Profile
A business's free listing on Google Maps and Search, showing its address, hours, photos, and reviews.
What is Google Business Profile, and how do I get my business to show up on Google Maps?
This is the listing that shows up when someone searches for your business by name, or searches for something "near me," on Google or Google Maps. It shows the address, hours, phone number, photos, and reviews, and lets people call or get directions with one tap.
The business owner manages it after verifying the listing, and it performs better the more it is kept current, with correct hours and real photos of the location.
Why it matters to your business
For a business with a physical location or a service area, the Google listing is often the first thing a customer sees, even before the website. A listing with real photos and reviews builds trust and can bring in calls and visits without paying for ads.
How we use this at Damorus
La Roca's roadmap includes a Google Maps strategy with real photos, hours, and complete contact information on the business listing. Its business cards carry a QR code that opens the store's location directly in Google Maps, and on the site, the dashboard tracks how many people tap the Maps button. In URG Technology one of the automatic emails invites the customer to rate the store on Google Maps.
